And now the sky appears to be falling over Mr. Smith over his habitual foray into enigmatic blogging.

(STARpod.org) -- His name is Dan T. Smith. Mr. Smith's father, Harvard economist Dan Throop Smith, was the Treasury Department's number one tax adviser during the Eisenhower White House. He has two sisters, one that once taught in a one-room school in Montana, and according to Smith's Blog, lives without the luxury of television or the Internet. Mr. Smith's other sister, the wife of business executive Charles Leighton, is a friend of President George W. Bush's aunt, Nancy Bush Ellis. Mr. Leighton earned a Jack Anderson story in the Washington Post over a bizarre cuff link affair.

His personal meetings have included former and present representatives of the U.S. Government Intelligence Community, and their political associates, likeChris Straub, a former member of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence.

Clearly Mr. Smith moves, almost at will, amongst the elite corps of movers and shakers in the brain vs. brain game of "Spies, Lies and Polygraph Tape." His claim is to seek out "The Truth" about the "Best Possible World," and damn any and all facts to the contrary. His gospel is directed towards the powers that be, with claims he receives direction from a contact close to the center of the government's inner circle of knowledge.

And now the sky appears to be falling over Mr. Smith over his habitual foray into enigmatic blogging.

As reported previously, part of Mr. Smith's modus operandi is to subtly and overtly identify this party, leaving him naked for all the world to see. The Naked Spy has been revealed, but is anyone paying attention, outside of the obvious parties in the service of foreign counterintelligence agencies?

To fully understand Mr. Smith's dilemma, one must travel back in time some twenty-plus years, to a previous enigmatic situation involving a great deal of confusion and finger pointing between intelligence organizations, private citizens, and a deliberate effort to undermine investigations into extraterrestrial intervention in human affairs. Welcome to the twilight zone of artifice and entrapment commonly known as the "Real X-Files."

The background story began with a USAF Office of Special Investigations cover-up operation, a quiet conspiracy to silence a man interested in sights and signals monitored over Kirtland Air Force Base, and a top secret series of programs applying psychic powers to spy on American adversaries. The tale exploded shortly afterwards with the arrival of a package containing photographic copies of what appeared to be secret documents concerning MJ-12, allegedly a shadowy group of men united to address the "alien problem" following the end of World War II. A secretive government working group tasked with examining the implications of an alien presence suggested by the UFO data, including anomalous "Fastwalker" registrations in space tracking radar signals, followed shortly, as did an official FBI investigation into whether or not the MJ-12 documents were real.

And, for Mr. Smith, the story was about to unfold, beginning with his relationship to the Naked Spy. By coincidence, and according to a phone interview with the Naked Spy, preserved on audio tape by a researcher in Great Britain, the Naked Spy was in fact an original member of the U.S. Government's UFO Working Group.

To add to the mystery, during the phone interview, the Naked Spy also identified a colleague as the founder of the working group, a man Smith identifies with "CoR25." "CoR25" tells us he only attended one meeting of the working group, a claim in dispute with the Naked Spy's testimony. Curiously the Naked Spy claims to have only attended the first meeting as well.

"CoR25" confirmed to associates of Starstream Research that he was fairly certain that alien contact had occurred, based upon conversations with some of the highest ranking intelligence community members he had the pleasure of knowing. We note this includes several former Directors of Central Intelligence.

And then there was that problem of the polygraph tape, and a dispute between CIA officers and representatives and the USAF. The matter of the polygraph tape was first disputed by the Naked Spy, then later a confession of faulty memory when "CoR25" confirmed the confrontation.

If a polygraph tape never lies, then USAF OSI Special Agent Richard C. Doty, who publicly claimed the U.S. Government had been in contact with representatives from another world, was telling the truth. Alas, that issue may have to ultimately be deferred to the latest in lie detection scenarios involving functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Oh, and we should mention in passing that Mr. Doty was involved in the previously mentioned cover-up, and has been recently implicated by the Naked Spy as the man behind recent email forgeries involving John Gannon, a TIGER committee member. That's TIGER, for Technology Insight Gauge Evaluate Review, a joint effort coming from a DIA request to the National Academies of Science under AFSB (Air Force Studies Board).

If Mr. Doty is the fall guy this time around, then what exactly does Mr. Smith, aka "Chicken Little" of the now-infamous AVIARY of Intelligence Officers united for (or against?) disclosure of government secrets about our extraterrestrial friends and foes, see as the evidence that the sky is falling?

Is Mr. Smith being bamboozled, a victim of a Paper TIGER conspiracy, involving high-level USG game players with wrapped sense of humor? Or is Mr. Smith twisting in the winds of his own delusional meanderings, an annoying thorn that protocol requires be tolerated by men better tasked with serving their day job to protect a nation?
